Abstract

The four cases which follow in this section were developed specifically with State Department of Education, Regional Resource Center, Intermediate Educational Units, or other similar educational practices in realistic settings, operating in conditions similar to those of the primary audience. However, the purpose is to be illustrative, not definitive. The characters in these cases were faced with difficult decisions and limited resources. They often have to accept compromise and occasionally do not exercise the best option available. But they learn from these detours, as hopefully we all do.
