Zusammenfassung

Die palynologischen Untersuchungen in Japan haben um das Jahr 1930 fast gleichzeitig mit den pflanzensoziologischen angefangen. Es gab zwei Forschungszentren. Das erste war in Kyôto und das zweite in Sendai. Daneben gab es auch einzelne Forscher, die sich mit diesem Problem beschäftigten und dazu etwas beitrugen. Heute haben wir wie in anderen Wissenszweigen sehr viele tätige Forscher sowie auch zahlreiche Ergebnisse in der Palynologie in Japan, wobei die oben genannten zwei Zentren noch als die bedeutendsten bestehen bleiben.
