Résumé
Une coloration du graphe G à k couleurs ou une k-coloration est une partition de ses sommets en k classes non-vides telles que deux sommets appartenant à une même classe ne soient pas adjacents [1]. Le plus petit nombre de classes d’une coloration de G est nommé nombre chromatique de G et il est noté par γ(G). Les graphes G qui ont une seule coloration à k = γ(G) couleurs ont été étudiés dans [2]. On peut déterminer le nombre chromatique d’un graphe fini G en résolvant un problème de couverture minimale des sommets de G par les ensembles intérieurement stables maximaux de G. Si l’on utilise l’algorithme de Petrick [3], on obtient aussi toutes les colorations minimales de G.
