Abstract
This act, commonly called the Dry Milk Solids Act, was passed “To fix a reasonable definition and standard of identity of certain dry milk solids.” It was amended only once to change the terminology from “nonfat dry milk solids or defatted milk solids” to “nonfat dry milk.” The act was not enacted as part of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act but was made applicable to it.
