Abstract

Since, by definition, the vitamins are essential for the life and well-being of animals and man their ingestion in quantities equivalent to those found in a normal mixed diet must be beneficial. Hence at a level of intake adequate for their vitamin role adverse reactions are unknown except in a very few clinical disorders.
