Abstract

In addition to the comprehensive studies by Dr Satoh and his colleagues (presented in Chapter 7), five other centres in Japan have participated in a clinical trial programme to evaluate the use of ONO-802 in the termination of second trimester pregnancy. All six studies have been published 1–6. Dr Satoh was analyst in the first study which was a multicentre double-blind controlled study organized by Professor Sakamoto. The other five studies are uncontrolled.
