Abstract

By now you should have grasped the principles that:

  1. (a)

    The normal distribution curve depicts the distribution of chance occurrences round a mean.

  2. (b)

    Some occurrences occur more frequently by chance than other occurrences.

  3. (c)

    Each occurrence can be assigned a probability value, i.e. the likelihood of its occurring by chance.
