Abstract

Some people come to East Africa to see the scenery, some to catch big game fish and some to enjoy the magnificent coastal beaches with their sunshine. In a few years many more people may come for these things but at the moment there can be no doubt that it is the wild animals which attract the majority of travellers. Nowhere else in the world can they be seen in their natural surroundings in such abundance and variety.
