Abstract

This part of Kenya contains some of the most beautiful areas of all. As yet, however, with the exception of the Masai Mara Game Reserve in the south it has not been greatly developed for tourism. Nevertheless Western Kenya contains several places which are favourites with local residents and the foreign visitor who would like to see parts of the country which are off the beaten track is recommended to travel in this region.
