Abstract
The most elusive part of the term CAD/CAM is that deceptively simple oblique stroke which links (or does it separate?) the two halves. We have already shown, we hope, that CAD has a clear and comprehensible identity, and we hope to show in a moment that the basic principles of CAM are equally easy to grasp — but what of the relationship between the two?
