Abstract

The speaker stressed the importance of clearly identifying a course and its teaching objectives before trying to define a suitable system. It was suggested that a need existed for engineers to be taught both software and hardware engineering. He also pointed out that we should look to the needs of our students over the next 20 years not just the immediate future.
