Abstract

A charged particle moving in a direction at right angles to a magnetic field attempts to follow a circular path. This path is called a MAGNETRON ORBIT. The radius of a magnetron orbit, the distance traveled in it, and the velocity of travel are factors that can be manipulated to accomplish various objectives.
