Abstract

In Appendixes A, B, C, D, E and F, the reader is introduced to several of the cornerstone documents of the printed circuit industry. These documents guide much of the design, testing, and acceptability requirements which are presented in artwork, blueprints, and corporate procurement specifications. In other words, these documents have a major impact on the work of the printed circuit manufacturer. The manufacturer must be familiar with them in order to know what is expected. This material also gives the reader a firm background from which to evaluate the requirements of any given job, as delineated by the artwork, blueprint, procurement specification, and purchase order.
