Abstract
The printed circuit industry is fortunate to have wealth of information. Various military and government organizations and the Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits (IPC) publish an array of documents on all aspects of design, testing, end product material requirements, and processing for printed circuits. An individual need not be an expert to use this information. In fact, no one can be considered fully competent in his or her field of training and experience without a knowledge of the specifications and standards which have been established and are internationally recognized as industry guidelines.
