Abstract
Effective technology development and transfer depends on an interactive, holistic system, that Röling (1987) calls the agricultural information system. The system includes: a research subsystem; a dissemination subsystem; a user subsystem.
Also called Agricultural Technology Management System (ATMS) or Agricultural Knowledge System (AKS) (Kaimowitz, 1987)
