Abstract

Like many newly coined shorthand terms, the word “biofeedback” conveys an impression of the ultra-modern or mysterious. The concept of biofeedback training, moreover, carries with it an aura of control, which although not mysterious may sound imposing. The reality is more ordinary, perhaps even mundane.
