Abstract
Network functions can be expressed as the ratio of two polynomials in the complex frequency variable s:
where H(s) is a rational function of s with m and n having integer values (n >m). The coefficients of both numerator N(s) and denominator D(s) polynomials are real for networks composed of passive elements and with no controlled sources.
