Abstract
Transcultural medicine involves the clinical and consultant encounters between a doctor of one ethnic and a patient of another. In addition to the medical aspects (physical, psychological and social), it is necessary to consider the problems which may arise because of the ethnic differences, and necessary to consider communication, religion, culture and ethnicity.
