Abstract
Every organization, no matter how small and simple or large and complex, uses resources to achieve its aims. These resources can be categorized broadly under four main headings: space, people, materials and machines. This concept is universal and applies to any kind of enterprise, whether it be commercial or professional; it certainly applied to the post-war Hammersmith and all four were pursued when opportunities arose.
