Abstract

The major statement by Feingold (1975) concerning diet as a cause of hyperactivity has provoked an outpouring of pro and con reactions. Parent groups have been organized and there is now a national organization, The Feingold Association of the USA, committed to undertaking research and assisting parents in the area of diet management of hyperactivity.
