Simulationsmodelle von Wald-Ökosystemen: Wasser

Abstract

Mathematical models have been developed that make it possible to calculate the evapotranspiration and the seepage rate occurring in forest ecosystems.

In the models those components of the water balance equation that can be measured (precipitation, interception, soil water storage) are related in a rational, analytical way to those components that cannot (evapotranspiration, seepage). The models use the unsaturated soil moisture flow equation, which is solved numerically for one-dimensional moisture flow.

Simulations are carried out for a beech forest and for a spruce forest of the Soiling area over a period of 5 years, and some results are presented.
