Abstract

Heat transfer between a surface and a fluid or a multiphase system depends on the flow condition in the vicinity of the heat exchanger surface [16]. Whether the heat transfer is caused by heat conduction and/or heat convection mechanisms is a question of the flow condition immediately next to the heat exchanger surface.
