Abstract

Whilst neurogenic stuttering is by now a well-recognized nosological entity, its pathophysiology is still a matter of conjecture (see Lebrun, this volume). A case of acquired stuttering following brain damage sustained in adulthood is reported which may shed some light on the pathogenesis of the condition.
