Abstract

The characteristics of the bulk and surface plane waves in the Faraday chiral media are investigated for the case in which the biasing magnetostatic field is impressed perpendicularly to the propagation plane and along the boundary of the medium. The full-wave analysis of the dispersion relations for propagation coefficients is fulfilled for different values of the chirality parameter.
