Abstract

The results on the deep low dispersion (1250 Å/mm at Hγ) spectral survey of the Milky Way equatorial ten degree belt (30º ≤ l≤ 165º, 195º ≤ l ≤ 210º) are presented. More than 1500 Carbon stars were identified among them 862 new ones. The C/M5+ ratio in the galactic plane increases from 0.02 to 0.3 when longitude varies from 30º to 210º.
