Abstract

The dwarf spheroidal galaxies comprise the low mass tail of the dwarf elliptical galaxy sequence. The proximity of the nine dsphs accompanying our Galaxy allows the possibility of detailed studies of both their dynamics and their star formation histories and chemical evolution.
