Abstract
A complete software system for the analysis of objective-prism data has been developed in the framework of a collaboration between the Observatories of Trieste and Athens, and has been used successfully to process low-and medium-dispersion (2440 and 830 Å/mm at H γ, respectively) objective prism spectra taken with the 1.2m UK Schmidt Telescope in Australia. The system has been derived from a former one (Balestra et al. 1990) in terms of basic operations, and takes advantage of new data processing technologies.
