Abstract
The objection of this investigation was to determine the applicability of GC/MS and GC/MS/MS techniques, including EI, methane CI and ammonia CI ionization, as screening techniques for detection of Schedule 1A1 alkyl methylphosphonofluoridates [CH3P(O)(OR)F] and their corresponding Schedule 2 hydrolysis products [CH3P(O)(OR)0H], where R = C1 to C10 alkyl and cycloalkyl. The applicability of the ionization techniques for molecular weight configuration is also evaluated.
