Abstract
This is the first of a chapter series which deals with a vision for the organizational use of computers. As explained in Chapter 1, these chapters are interspersed among other chapters that develop the Theory of organized activity. As also explained in Chapter 1, I present the Vision partly because I regard it as valuable in itself, and partly because I hope to demonstrate the relevance of the Theory to its development.
