Abstract

The superconductivity fluctuation contribution kfl to the thermal conductivity of Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2O8+y and DyBa2Cu2O7-x polycrystals is extracted from precise experimental data. A crossover from 2D to 3D behaviors is well marked on the Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2O8+y sample. On the other hand, a 3D behavior only is observed on the DyBa2Cu2O7-x material. This seems consistent with the more or less anisotropic structure of these compounds. From the crossover temperature and the fluctuation contribution amplitude, realistic values for the interlayer coupling energy and the transport relaxation time near T C are found in those materials.
