Abstract

An analysis of the specific heat data for the vicinity of superconducting transition was carried out for three SmBa2Cu307-δ samples differently processed under oxygen pressure of 250 bar. Mean-field BCS-like contribution as well 3D Gaussian fluctuations term were involved in the analysis and the values of coherence length ξGL were assessed. A tentative hypothesis was formulated that for optimal doped samples the ξGL values are the smallest.
