Abstract
The ECO LOGIC process was developed by the ECO LOGIC company of Rockwood, Ontario, Canada and is built around the moderately high temperature reaction of hydrogen and steam with liquid or gaseous organic wastes to form, primarily, methane, and hydrogen, lesser amounts CO, CO2 and, for hetero atoms, products of their reactions with hydrogen. Ancillary processes include a batch oven and a molten tin pyrolysis unit for treating contaminated solids, a steam reformer for production of hydrogen, and a gas scrubbing system for purification of the reactor product.
