Abstract

A reactive surfactant is an amphiphilic molecule with an additional functionality that provides it with chemical reactivity. An important class of reactive surfactants are those that act in radical polymerizations either as comonomer (SURFMERS), or as initiator (INISURFS), or as chain transfer agent (TRANSURFS) [1,2].
