Polymeric Dispersions: Principles and Applications

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSE,volume 335))

Abstract

Microencapsulation is the process of obtaining small solid particulates, liquid droplets, or gas bubbles with a coating. In this review the process of encapsulating inorganic pigments and fillers with a polymer through suspension or emulsion polymerization is described.
