Abstract

Molecular solids are defined by the chemical nature of their molecular components and by their interactions with respect to each other in the crystalline phase. Whereas molecular chemistry deals with the design and the synthesis of the individual units, their assembly is governed by concepts of supramolecular chemistry [1].
