Abstract

Over the past twenty years there has been a growing interest in the application of total quality management (TQM) as a philosophy for directing the teaching and learning activities taking place in the business classroom. While educators and administrators have been attracted to possible benefits of TQM, they have questioned whether TQM can deliver the same benefits in the classroom that it has been able to deliver in the business setting.
