Abstract
The Nordic Optical Telescope is being equipped with new proprietary instruments, specifically a modern low-noise high-quantum efficiency CCD camera, Brocam-I and a faint object spectrograph, ALFOSC, In addition, new instruments for observations in the optical and near IR, have been planned, like the camera, NOTCam for wide-field and high spatial resolution direct imaging. The characteristics of its modes and detector are briefly outlined.
