Abstract
A CCD camera/controller system has been developed for use at the 2.5m NOT and the Danish 1.5m telescope on La Silla. Based on a standard industrial dewar, the system is designed to accommodate a variety of commonly used CCDs up to the Loral 2kx2k devices in up to 2 x 2 mosaics, read through up to 8 parallel channels. The PC/MC68020 based controller performs in all essential respects on a par with other systems currently in use at major observatories worldwide. The deployment and planned upgrades of the system are briefly described.
