Abstract
The Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaii has an active program in detector development, both in optical CCDs and Infrared Arrays. Below, I briefly describe the optical detector program and the existing scientific CCD cameras in place on UH facilities on Mauna Kea. I also list present and future development efforts.
