Abstract
Having known Edith Müller for many years, one of her most striking character traits was her particularly well developed sense of sociability and her cosmopolitan way of life. This many-faceted nature represented a unique blend of the German and Hispanic cultures. That situation was the logical result of the events in her early life, when her parents moved to Spain and from there maintained regular contact with Switzerland.
