Abstract
A real time sediment transport and bathymetric change model is developed to simulate short time beach evolution in Lemah Abang, Jepara, Central Java. The inputs for the model are wave condition at the offshore and current field derived from a nearshore current model.
The model equations is solved by finite difference method using staggered mesh scheme. The simulation results of beach change for the period of two weeks and one month are compared with the field data and the results of the model developed by NEWJEC, Japan.
