Abstract
I would like to give you a short report to protected areas in the Black sea region. I have three questions:
1. What is a protected area?
2. Which protected areas do exist in the Black Sea region and how are the different landscapes represented in them?
3. Which measures are necessary to improve the conservation of biological diversity and of the natural heritage in this region?
