Abstract
We are presently dealing with a multimedia educative tool in order to make easier the teaching of the complex physical phenomena governing microwave circuits and their related semiconductor devices. This course is systematically supported by results obtained from a general time domain electrical circuit model, the originality of which consists in the use of physical macroscopic semiconductor device models. The circuit model is used to generate time domain animations of both the circuit signal waveform and semiconductor device spatial internal physical quantities. A first demonstrator is devoted to microwave two-terminal transit time oscillators.
