Abstract
In considering the various ways in which the existence principle has been challenged, I have said nothing so far about the conspicuous challenge involved in the ontological argument for the existence of God. In the way it connects perfection with existence, this argument has involved such a conspicuous challenge to the principle that we need in conclusion to say something about it.
