High Speed Centrifugal Impeller and Diffuser Interaction Near Stall Conditions

  • Conference paper

Abstract

Amongst the flow instabilities observed in compressors, stall and surge are taken to be the most disastrous effects upon the performance of turboma-chinery. It is necessary to secure always the surge margin in compressor map when the operation shifts towards the lower mass flow rate.
