Abstract
We have begun to look for low-mass stars and brown dwarfs using data from the 2MASS Prototype Cameras. Reported here are some very early, yet very encouraging, results which demonstrate the ease with which 2MASS will uncover missing, very cool members of the solar neighborhood.
