Abstract

A review of recent works dealing with processing of ultrafine-grained, nanostructured materials by severe plastic deformation and investigation of their properties is given in the present paper. The paper considers details of processing methods, structural features of processed ultrafine-grained materials and discusses their unusual deformation behavior and properties.
