Abstract
What is electronic commerce (EC)? Depending on whom you ask, it may mean using a credit card to buy something from a World Wide Web (Web) site. Another person may say that EC is electronic data interchange (EDI). A third person may say that EC supports all aspects of business trading, including the sending and receiving of electronically signed documents.
