Formation of GMCS by Aggregation in a Disk with Rigid Body Rotation

Abstract

To study the process of formation of giant molecular clouds (GMCs) in the disk galaxy, N-body simulations were carried out based on the aggregation model. It was shown that differential rotation has a positive role in the formation of GMCs.
