Thermodynamic Optimization in Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion

  • Chapter
Thermodynamic Optimization of Complex Energy Systems

Part of the book series: NATO Science Series ((ASHT,volume 69))

Abstract

As alternative energy sources to oil and uranium, we can consider well known alternative sources such as solar power, geothermal power and wind power. However when we consider the 21st century energy sources, ocean energy is also an important potential energy source which must not be overlooked.
